    Responsibilities

    Are you an experienced payroll coordinator?  We are a fast-paced and deadline oriented corporate payroll office.

     

    You would be a good fit if you are:

    detail-oriented, experienced with computerized time keeping systems, CBAs and have a clear understanding of 
    of federal, state and local taxes.  In additon, strong written and verbal skills and experience with Excel are required.

     

    Your duties in addition to payroll may include:

    • processing include resolving payroll discrepancies with facilities and employees,
    • filing taxes for multiple companies,
    • monthly reconciliations, coordinating with other departments,
    • ongoing training for facility payroll staff.
    • Travel throughout Michigan may be required on occasion.
    • An in-depth understanding of accounting principles with an accounting degree is preferred.

    Qualifications

    You have:  Education and/or Experience:

    • Minimum high school diploma or equivalent’ some college or technical training preferred.
    • Minimum 3 years experience in payroll processing.
